There are also the nearby temples as well as the scenic Silvermine Waterfall, Silvermine Cave and Tung Chung Fort. Silvermine Beach and Upper Cheung Sha Beach are the two main beaches in the vicinity. A taxi ride from Mui Wo town centre or from Silvermine Beach Resort will take you to the famous Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery, one of Hong Kong’s top tourist attractions.
